Tropicana Discovers Some Buyers Are Passionate About Packaging

Well, if you didn't like any of the packaging for the PepsiCo. Inc. made by Arnell Group, check out this article. It kinda validates what I do for a living. Even though 90 percent of what I do may not see the light of day, consumers are still looking. They know what they like, whether or not they can explain why they do or don't. It's amazing how important design is and the role it plays in is so many peoples lives, and yet they don't even know it until it's gone.

Animal Collective

This is one of the best music videos I've seen in a long time. And the song is awesome too.

I don't want to blame this on you, but...

This is why we can't take Henry anywhere.

The King!

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regardless of creed or color we should all remember a man that did not look to raise up a superior race, but to allow every human being to be as one. To live together and believe in the Human Race. There are many issues today that can be solve with the same care and attention that he used to help African Americans to be free from unseen oppression, among many other issues.

Today we face another problem. We can see a parallel to the Gay community who, because of Proposition 8, are not allowed certain rights as human beings. Whether it's religion or pure hatred for Homosexuals, I feel we cannot stand for the ignorance that has defaced all the good that people inherently own. I know that the American Nation is suffering from more than just this issue. Bt, we can use the ideas and example of MLK to fix these problems.

His legacy is so apparent today. He has never faded from history or our minds. Tomorrow, we swear in a new President. Someone who believes in humans. Believes in change. Believes in those things that allow us to get back to a humanistic way of life. To not only live with the people in this country in peace, but also with those outside of our country. I hope that we will be able to use MLK's key idea in his campaigns to solve our issues with the world. Non violent acts of hope and charity.

Failure

We can put this up on the mantle of "Things I create that everyone hates." Or just my boss and clients. This along with the Skechers stuff I did.

Get Pitted!

I miss surfing.

Tricks are something whores do for money Michael!

I'm a late bloomer to Arrested Development, but I love it. Too bad Fox screwed it all up.

Holy Chit

Uhh, hmmm. Not sure what to say about this.

SFF

So last night was the opening to the Sundance Film Festival and I was able to attend the first film for the week. It was a film called Mary and Max. It was a pretty amazing film. For me, it was one of those films, that after you watch it, you don't want to do or hear anything. You kinda want to stay in that moment and soak in what the film really was about. Try as I might, I was never able to drown out the sounds of clamoring people who after seeing a great film, summed it up to be "interesting." WTF?! It was much more than that. Maybe, I take things to the nth degree, but I feel that a lot of people don't really get into what a movie could be about. Then again, it may just come down to personal preference. Oh well, I loved this movie along with Adam Elliot's other film Harvey Krumpet. If you get a chance, check them out.

Skecherrrrrrs

Here are some shirt designs I did for Skechers.

First Up

Okay. So here's my first entry. I come across many things in my daily life, or should I say, my daily internet skimmings. Many of these things that I find will be posted here. Some things may have an affect or it may just be stupid. Regardless, I hope to collect these things so I never forget about the what makes me happy, and gets me through the day. Enjoy!

Check this. I find it to be quite interesting. Obsession
